Our evening yesterday started of with dinner at Crow in Queen Anne. While we were there, George R.R. Martin walked in (author of the Game of Thrones series). Woo! We were close to the Space Needle so we decided to round off day 2 in Seattle by visiting it; this is pretty much required, right?
45 minutes later we made it to the observation deck. On the way up we stopped at the Skyline Deck which was hosting a wedding reception. The elevator opened to people dancing and bumpin' music. It was like a scene from a movie.
The cardinal directions were inlaid so you could orient yourself.
We got lucky enough to stay up there from just after sunset until after twilight.
In conclusion, this was really awesome and I loved it. And Dustin got to go in the Space Needle on his birthday.
